The natural treasures of Matildic Land

On the left:
Mount Cosma in Parco del Gigante, Reggio Emilia;
Golden eagles often fly above Parco dei Cento Laghi, in the Apennines west of Parma.

Famous for its extraordinary monumental patrimony, the matildic region is also unique from a naturalistic point of view, because the ancient beauty of these hills has been preserved through the centuries, to confirm that the balance between men and nature is at the basis af the culture of the lands.
The visitor will find here a wonderful landscape, not much different than the one that riders, emperors and popes used to cross some centuries ago.
