This village
is characterized by a fascinating impressive landscape, laying
on a balcony-like plain, on the waters of the river Enza, dominating
the valley, it is very well appreciated by fishermen, swimmers
or canoe drivers, diving in international descent competitions.
The woods on the river Tassobio are also a wonderful oasis to
rest. The beauty of the main centre reminds us to the matildic
renaissance, witnessed by the church of San Lorenzo; some other
cultural attractions are the tower houses; the inscription on
the Municipality Palace, dating back to the Indipendence fights;
the portals and the courts. Some very remarkable sites in the
environs are Spigone, Pineto, Legoreccio, Scalucchia, Gottano.
Because of its mild climate and its nature and the touristic
facilities, this village is one of the favourite sites where
the natives enjoy their week-ends or summer holidays.
